Marketing – Operation and Conditions of Use

The system has a web based marketing module which allows emails, mobile text messages and latent messages (messages which show in store on the tablet when their card is presented) to be sent to scheme card holders who have opted in to receive. Latent messages also display on the smartphone of cardholders who have downloaded the Love Hoole App.

All requests for marketing are to be submitted to the loyalty pro helpdesk by email at marketing@loyaltypro.co.uk.  The requests from the different organisations will be processed as below.

 

Love Hoole Trading Association, and other Hoole organisations.

Can supply and send marketing info to all card holders. This is designed for communicating news and events etc. which are aimed at the whole community. These can be subdivided based on the interests which the cardholder signed up for on registration.

All emails will be branded with the Love Hoole logo.

Items submitted under this category will be collated and sent out together twice a month without charge.

 

Individual traders who are members of the loyalty scheme

Individual traders will be able to use the system to market to the subset comprising of their own customers (defined as anyone who picked up a card from their store, or has made at least one purchase in their store using the card). These traders can also designate purchase categories when entering transactions, which can then be used to target purchasers of specific products.

Nb) Individual traders will not be able to market directly to customers of other businesses in the group.

To ensure that the marketing text is appropriate all requests for marketing from individual traders will be vetted and proof read by Loyalty Pro before distribution. Once messages are ready to distribute a sample copy will be sent to the trader for final confirmation and notification of the number of messages to be sent, prior to distribution.

All emails will be branded with the Love Hoole logo, and the logo of the individual businesses.

One message per individual trader will be processed free of charge per month. Additional campaigns can be purchased.

Cardholders who have entered their birthday on registration will be sent a birthday offers email prior to the date – any trader can opt into this process and supply details of their special birthday offers to be included on this email.

Individual traders can also apply to have their offers included in the twice-monthly email to all cardholders.  This will only be granted if Loyalty Pro are satisfied the content will not bring the scheme into disrepute.

Trader Collaboration

Any subset of traders can get together and submit a campaign with a request to market to their combined customers with joint offers or information.

 

Loyalty Pro (the operators of the Love Hoole Scheme)

Will send regular updates to card holders with operational news such as the addition of new stores to the scheme, which will also appear on this website.

 

Advertising on your tablet

Each business operating via a counter tablet can also have two slides of offers and information relating to their business on the tablet which display when the tablet is not in use. These slides alternate with 2-4 slides which show community and scheme information as determined by the Loyalty Pro. The common slides will may include advertising of events run by your business provided the committee decides they are not to the detriment of any other businesses within the group.

 

Each business can have their slides updated once per month without charge by sending the required info to the helpdesk.

Additional updates may be purchased.

nb) Initially, and in the absence of other info, your two slides will advertise the benefits of the scheme in your venue.

 

General Notes

The contact data is held in a secure database environment, and will not be made available or visible to any third parties.

All card holders will be deemed to have opted in for emails and latent messages.

Only card holders who supplied a valid mobile number and have ticked the box allowing text messages when registering their card will be included in text based marketing campaigns.

Any requests for marketing will be submitted to and handled by the Loyalty Pro helpdesk staff to ensure that procedures are followed, to validate the source, and to ensure that the marketing is sent to the correct subset of cardholders.

The template for emails will be fixed and include the option for a single photo only.

Latent messages sent the smartphones which have the app will automatically include the name of the trader who is sending them.

Any campaigns which are appropriate for the general Love Hoole Facebook page will also subsequently be displayed via that medium.

Card holders will be given the option to opt out receiving all scheme emails on each email global email sent.

 

 

To request a marketing campaign contact us on marketing@loyaltypro.co.uk  with your proposed wording and optional photo plus your proposed qualifying cardholder criteria and the method required (email/text/tablet messaging/tablet slide).

Note that text messages are transmitted through a third party product and therefore incur a charge of 4p per text sent. Emails campaigns and screen changes are processed as part of the free support that Loyalty Pro are providing. All texts will be branded as being sent from “Love Hoole” when displayed on the receiving phone.
